Introducing BrieFix – a New Tool for Smart Design Briefs

If getting poor briefs from your clients makes you, as a designer, waste time and energy, or it results in unsatisfactory design, then BrieFix has been launched to help you. BrieFix is a new web-based tool that helps designers get complete and effective briefs from their clients. In order to get to work as soon as you receive a new project you need to have clear and useful specifications on the product or company that will benefit from the design treatment. BrieFix extracts all vital information from clients and supplies relevant design preferences through mood boards. By eliminating the trouble of expressing attitudes and feelings that the desired design project should incorporate, these mood boards inspire and interpret clients’ wants and needs. In the end all information is comprehensibly organized into a truly useful design brief that is key to successful design.

BrieFix

By catering to clients’ needs from the very beginning, with help in writing a design brief, you services gain extra value and will be regarded as highly professional. And the risk of clients that shy away when facing the daunting task of delivering a design brief can be drastically reduced because with BrieFix the process is fast and fun.

BrieFix

BrieFix can be integrated on any kind of website and can be customized to look as part of a personal solution. Also the way the tool interacts with clients can also be set up according to each designer’s needs by creating brief templates for any kind of design project: logo, website, banner, stationary etc. As part of a complex solution it can also organize and store all your design projects and let you download, print and share them.

BrieFix

BrieFix is here to relieve the pain of the briefing process and contribute to an overall better design. Take a look at everything BrieFix is able to do by using the tool for free 30 days. Claim your account as soon as you can before someone else does!

I have recently started up a company and one of the services that we offer is web design. I am often unable to meet with clients to discuss a design brief and a tool like this would be great for our business! Being a new company we have limited resources and funds and this tool would be invaluable to us.

I often find, that after the initial contact from a potential client asking me to price i.e. a website for their company, my questions regarding their wishes (basically I’m asking for a brief before I can give a fixed price on a project) often stays unresponded to.

Would be great with a ‘less scary’ and easy tool they can use and hopefully turn those initial mails into serious leads. :)

As a front end web developer, and corporate identity guru by day, and freelance illustrator/poster maker extraordinaire by night, getting established has been quite the pickle. Fortunately, work seems to be flowing in at a solid rate and I am lacking a proper way to receive briefs from clients (editors note: let alone get my new portfolio up and running, so i run off the companies) and without time to build my own solution this would make BrieFixthe solution I’m looking for.

I would love to give it a whirl, and win this competition.

Briefix is such a good idea and I’m sure will have huge success as extracting briefs from clients is sometimes as painful as pulling teeth themselves…which is why of course I would like to win a premium pack!

Having a proper system to handle design briefs would make client/project tasks much easier. I am sure I would have less headaches if I was using this to handle things.
