I’ve been thinking of start broadening my design skills to some 3d program like Maya, but i’m pretty afraid that for a 3d beginner it would be quite difficult. How long does it take to start getting good with Maya ? Is it possible to learn with just web tutorial, or maybe some “Maya 3d for Dummies” is better to start from ?

Anyway I’ll take a look at some of these tutorials, some things created in Maya would be very useful for me to export them to Photoshop.
