3DS Max is widely used in spine and patch modeling, character animations, inverse kinematics, rendering, lighting, mesh and many more. Proper texture mapping and appropriate materials should be used to render a realistic effect. 3DS Max is a very powerful material editor that gives your creativity the required edge. With the help of this software package, you can give your reel characters a real touch. Nowadays, many 3DS Max tutorials are available. You can take help of these tutorials to create your 3D Max designs models and visualization effects.
Sometimes, the imaginary world is much better than the physical world. The most important part of the 3DS Max is modeling. Only perfect modeling can derive satisfactory outputs. Tutorials can help you to learn more about the 3D film effects, complex design virtualizations, rich and realistic game characters. The 3DS Max is mainly used by the visual effects artists, design visualization specialists and the game developers. It has a tools-package that assists you to easily create a variety of shapes like cylinder, sphere or box and even helps in sketching the character outline.
Once you master these 3DS Max modeling techniques, it is quite easy to create simple to complex characters or animations. Animation can sound challenging to learn but once you start using the tutorials, you’ll get a quick and good grasp on it. Using this software and its advanced designing tools, you can create very realistic images and computer-generated models. The materials used are very important for creating realistic models. For example, while modeling an animal or a person, proper scale is required from multiple angles and this can only be achieved with the help of 3DS Max.
Once you are through with the tutorials, you would be able to develop a model. By altering the shapes and adding some additional features, provide some realism to the selected models. After the realistic model is developed, it needs to be textured to get a good effect. There are more than hundreds of textures available in the 3D models from skins to metals to fabrics. And finally we get down to the lighting effect; this too is very important for the models and should be placed in a natural position to witness the proper effects. Multiple lights could also be used to enhance and stimulate the objects surrounding the model. Thus, with proper approaches, you can achieve beautiful 3DS Max models.

Making of Cafe
When I went to France on April 2005 on my high school trip, I bought different Christmas postcards to send them to my family and friends. Accidentally I forgot to post one of them so I brought it home. It represented the Cafe de Flore of Paris, the famous cafe of french existentialists and artists. I liked a lot and so I decided to realize it with computer graphics techniques and instruments.

This tutorial was made based the development the my last project: Dead Twice. In this i’ll explain the techniques of the modeling, as well to the mapping and texturing. It’s possible which my techniques aren’t the more used for animations, but I’m a beginner with animations, so, I’ll explain here, are experiences, concepts and suggestions of the many artists.
Making of Nissan 350Z
For the Modelling, first we must have the Blueprints of the car we are making (Nissan 350Z).
The idea for this scene came from a Caterham model that I saw at a hobby store a few weeks before. So the next time I went there I had to buy it. I was hoping to find a blueprint of the model car in the box but it wasn’t there! So I had to build the model first and measure each object.
Making puzzles with a picture on top
Here we will use our 3DS Max to make a cool looking puzzle of any picture you like.
Making of a coffee table

The making of Bruttus 4Z
Most of you may already know that some sketches are vital for a modeller when it comes to a concept car, not only in cars but for everything else. I made some sketches for some of my concepts and others not because I used other cars as reference. The car that we’re talking about, in this article, is based on the marvelous and beautiful Mazda RX-8 as you may already noticed. I chose to base this one in RX-8 but I could’ve done sketches instead. Normally, I only create a picture of the side of the car because, to me, that’s what decides how the car will look.
The snatch of this car was and binding by chains, but Z4 can breaking this chain, so Z4 unleashed.
Making of Bugatti Veyron

Modeling a Cartoon Duck
This is a tutorial about modeling a cartoon duck. The modeling technique is spline modeling. The model is constructed in 3D Studio MAX by using splines. The model will get its final form when Surface modifier and Meshsmooth modifier is added to it. Why this kind of modeling technique? Nowadays polygon modeling seems to be the standard for character modeling. I think that polygon modeling is usually an easier approach. But sometimes certain subjects might be faster to model by using splines. And anyway I think spline modeling is a useful skill to have :) Spline modeling requires good skills of manipulating bezier splines. When modeling with splines you should always aim to model so that each hole in the spline cage has four edges. This kind of modeling guarantees that the final model will consist of quads which is good for deformations.
Low-Poly Character Modeling and Texturing
This tutorial is for the creation of Low-Poly “Portable Game Resolution” real-time characters. This tutorial is being made with 3D Studio Max and Photoshop and all program-specific instructions are for those programs. The basic techniques can be transferred to other applications if you are already very familiar with those programs. The first thing you should ever do before even opening your 3D app is to get your ref ready. I wasn’t aiming for anything fancy or elaborate. Nothing fantasy or sci-fi. Just a guy. So I’m using photo ref. A well-drawn and proportionally accurate drawing is also a good option. If you are not confident in your drawing ability, either get someone else to draw your ref, download a drawing, or just use photographs.

Modeling and rendering tutorial
I believe that making sketches is a vital step in designing architecture or objects ; as well as for designing the images. For this bedroom, I took a slightly different workflow. I can call it “sketching in 3d” First, I had vision of this bedroom on my mind. I was imagining the sun falling down into the room, I was imagining about the wallpaper and bed. All of this formed a strong and clear vision and I found myself choosing chairs for my virtual bedroom, and designing some of the furniture myself. After making few basic sketches of furniture I design, I started building/modelling the room. Sketching in 3d, provided a lot of space and time for me to concentrate on forms, surfaces, materials. As I was modelling each element, at the same time I was thinking of each element as a part of the whole, and concentrating on the whole design.
This video is about creating a camera projection (camera map per pixel) for an animation with pointing photo realism and maintaining rendering speed with Mental Ray in 3dsmax..Video has no sound but I believe everything is clear without the sound. 30 minutes 106 mb quicktime.
