  • Version 7.9 March 2, 2026

    • Slides Revision for Easier Editing
      We've updated our slides to make them more user-friendly for non-technical users. SVG logos have been replaced with standard image elements in all navigation panels and Slides 1-6, 8, 9, 38, 78, making logo replacement much simpler in the editor. When toggling whiteSlide mode, logos now properly show or hide as expected.
    • Improved Spacings Controls
      The Spacings setting now allows "auto" values for margins, properly resets to original styles when left empty, and supports negative values when using keyboard arrows or mouse drag. Similar negative value support has been added for Position, Letter Spacings, Grid gutter, and other relevant settings.
    • Better Element Selection
      Elements inside slider controllers can now be selected for editing — resolving selection issues in Slides 33, 60, 97, 133, 135, 136, 153, and 165. Images inside videoThumbnail elements (found in Slides 4, 16-18, 46, 60, 66, 80, 81, 87, 89, 90, 165) are now clickable and editable.
    • Swiper Carousel Improvements
      When duplicating slides within a carousel or duplicating elements inside controllers, the "selected" class is now removed from the original element to prevent both from appearing selected. The carousel automatically refreshes to reflect changes properly.
    • Improved Thumbnail Selection in Controllers
      Thumbnail images in slider controllers can now be selected and edited directly. Previously, it was impossible in Slide 121 and similar layouts.
    • Fixed an issue where clicking links or buttons would scroll to the first slide, disrupting editor workflow.
    • Fixed inability to change background color of category tag elements in Slide 170.
    • Fixed text editor behavior where pressing Enter would insert excessive line spacing — now creates a single new line as expected.
    • Fixed an issue where slides with "whiteSlide" setting enabled couldn't have a background image set. The .background element's .hidden class is now automatically removed when changing the slide's background image.

    • Page History and Auto Backups
      Every change to your page’s HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is now automatically saved as a new version. You can preview, restore, pin important versions, and rename snapshots, giving you full control to roll back changes at any time.
    • Editor Settings Memory
      The editor now remembers which settings groups you have opened for each element type. When switching between similar elements such as paragraphs, headings, or columns, your preferred settings groups remain open, reducing friction and speeding up repetitive edits.
    • Reorganized Settings Group Order
      Editor settings groups have been reordered based on frequency of use and logical flow. The most common and general options now appear at the top, making them faster and easier to access.
    • UI Improvements
      A series of interface refinements make the editor more intuitive and easier to navigate, improving both workflow efficiency and overall user experience.
    • Saving Time Improved
      Optimized the page saving process to improve save speed.

    • Trash Feature
      Deleted websites and pages now move to the Trash, listed under the Deleted Websites / Pages tab. Items remain there for 30 days before they are permanently removed. During this 30 day period, you can restore anything deleted by mistake. Websites in Trash do not count toward your account limit for additional websites, so related charges stop immediately while still allowing you to restore the site if needed.

    • Project Duplication Feature
      Now you can easily duplicate entire projects with all their settings, pages, and media. Perfect for creating variations, backups or starting new projects from existing templates while preserving your original work.
    • Improved Settings Toggle Behavior
      Removed problematic on/off toggles for setting groups in the editor due to inconsistent behavior.
    • Background Color Animation Example
      Resolved a CSS syntax error in the "Background color animation" example where an unnecessary closing bracket was present in the code.
    • Animation Classes Preservation
      Solved an issue where editing slide animations would remove all animation classes from other slides when "Preload Content" and "Animate Elements: On Scroll" settings were both enabled. Animation classes now persist correctly across all slides.
    • Custom Domain Configuration
      Resolved custom domain parking functionality and improved the setup process. The system now automatically filters out "www." prefixes to ensure proper SSL certificate issuance and HTTPS protocol support for all connected domains.
    • Inline SVG Library Error
      Fixed a compatibility issue between the new HTML Beautifier and legacy projects containing duplicate SVG IDs. Projects created between 2020-2022 now load correctly without preview errors.
    • Form Lead Notifications
      Resolved issues with form lead email notifications: saved notification emails now display correctly in project settings, and the notification system reliably sends alerts for new form submissions.
    • Social Media Preview Images
      Updated social media meta tags to use absolute URLs for share preview images instead of relative paths, ensuring proper image display when sharing content on social platforms.
    • YouTube Embed Compatibility
      Updated all embedded YouTube videos throughout slides and examples to use youtube-nocookie.com domain with proper referrer policies, restoring full video functionality across all components.
    • Side Navigation Display
      Restored side navigation functionality for slide switching that was affected by previous updates. Navigation controls now appear and function correctly in all viewing modes.
    • Image Management Issues
      Multiple image-related improvements: prevented preview reload on link clicks, enhanced image insertion into links (particularly in panels), resolved srcset attribute updates, and fixed image upload application in editor settings.
    • Backend Stability
      Resolved backend issues causing user license deactivation and general app loading errors. Improved overall system stability and reliability.

    • Airtable Integration Added
      You can now connect your websites with Airtable, allowing seamless synchronization of your forms data and expanding the possibilities for collaboration and automation within your Slides workflow.
    • Image Workflow in Editor
      We’ve improved the image drop targets in the Editor. You can now insert images directly into links and several commonly used elements, making it easier to design and customize visual content.
    • Link Click Reloading Preview
      Resolved an issue where clicking a link containing an image caused the preview to reload unexpectedly.
    • Inserting Images into Links
      Improved the experience of adding images inside links — especially in panel layouts, making tasks like updating logos much more intuitive.
    • Image Update with srcset attribute
      Addressed a bug where changing an image in the Editor did not reflect visually if the srcset attribute was present. Now, image updates behave correctly regardless of srcset.
    • Upload Image Setting Behavior
      Corrected a problem where the "Upload Image" setting triggered a preview reload and failed to apply the uploaded image. This feature now works smoothly as intended.
    • License Activation Bug
      Fixed a backend issue that caused some purchased user licenses to appear inactive after checkout.
    • App Launch Errors
      Resolved minor backend bugs that occasionally triggered errors during app initialization.
    • Missing Side Navigation Panel
      Restored the visibility of the side navigation used for switching slides, which was missing after the last update.

      Resolved issues where certain examples (including the Accordion example) weren't functioning correctly due to defer attribute conflicts in script tags. All examples now load and execute as intended.

      You can now connect your project with Make (formerly Integromat) to automate workflows and trigger actions across your favorite tools. Easily set up scenarios to send data from your app and streamline your processes without writing code.
    • Page Settings Update Issue
      Fixed a bug where certain page settings couldn’t be modified. This affected the Panels, Side Navigation, Animation, and Settings tabs—users were unable to save changes or see updates reflected in real-time. Everything should now work as expected.

    • Website forms data collection: Form data is now collectible and viewable directly in the Slides App.
    • Added a variety of new responsive CSS classes to the Slides Framework for improved adaptability on all devices.
