Need a Stripo alternative with more exports?
With Postcards, you get unlimited exports on a Pro plan that costs a fraction of Stripo’s. But how do the features compare overall? Does the Stripo experience justify a higher price, or is Postcards the best Stripo alternative? Let’s find out.
Open EditorThe Breakdown
-
Drag and drop editor
Both Postcards and Stripo use a drag-and-drop interface for creating templates without writing a single line of code. Both come with pre-built blocks and modules to start from — where they differ is the block library and how you fine-tune each one, so it’s worth comparing the building blocks that matter most to your workflow.
-
Instant brand import
Paste your website URL and Postcards pulls in your logo, colors, and fonts automatically, so every email starts on-brand. Stripo has no URL import — you build your brand kit by hand instead.
-
Work inside the tools you already use
Postcards installs where the work happens: a Chrome extension that drops a finished template straight into a Gmail compose window, an Outlook add-in, and a Google Workspace app. Stripo takes the other route by design — it exports from its own app with, in its words, no add-ons and no extensions required.
-
Customizable mobile view
Both Postcards and Stripo’s email templates are responsive. But what if you need to tweak your design for mobile? On Postcards, you can, with fine-grained control over both the mobile and desktop view. Stripo offers mobile controls too, so it’s worth comparing the specific options that matter to your workflow.
Pricing
This is where Postcards really comes out on top. Export more templates for free, or get the exports you need on a much lower-priced Pro plan.
-
Exports per month
On Postcards’ free plan, you can export 5 templates per month, versus 4 on the free version of Stripo. On the cheapest paid plans - $19/month for Postcards and $20/month for Stripo - Stripo allows 50 exports, versus 20 for Postcards.
-
Affordable Scaling
But if you need to scale up your workflow, it’s the Pro plan where Postcards really shines, giving you unlimited exports for just $29/month. Stripo’s comparable Pro plan costs $95/month and still caps you at 4,000 exports a month, so Postcards scales further for a fraction of the price.
-
Stored templates per account
With Postcards’ free plan, you can store up to 10 template projects in your account, the same number as Stripo’s free plan. On the cheapest paid plan, though, you can store unlimited template projects in Postcards, but you’re limited to 50 in Stripo’s cheapest paid plan.
Integrations
Both Postcards and Stripo work with every major email service provider, including HubSpot, Mailchimp, Sendpulse, Brevo, and more.

I like that it is easy to use, and I don't need to know how to code. We send emails through Pardot, and I am easily able to export the HTML code and just paste it right into Pardot.

The Winner
Stripo offers a similar drag and drop interface to Postcards, and both platforms allow one-click exports to any ESP. But two differences stand out. First, Postcards builds your brand kit straight from your website URL and installs into Gmail, Outlook and Google Workspace, while Stripo has no URL import and ships no extensions. Second, if you need unlimited exports, Stripo’s top plan runs $95/month and still caps exports at 4,000 a month — while Postcards Pro gives you unlimited exports for $29.
Overall, then, it’s fair to say that Postcards comes out on top.

Choose what Designmodo can use
We keep essential cookies on for security, your account, your cart and remembering this choice. Optional categories stay off unless you enable them.
Essential and security
Your login session and account, your shopping cart and checkout, payment and fraud prevention through Stripe, anti-abuse checks through Cloudflare Turnstile, our HelpScout support chat, and remembering this cookie choice and announcements you close. It also covers Metorik, our store reporting, which records how you reached the site so orders can be attributed, and Sentry, which reports errors so we can keep the apps working. Plausible analytics and Pulsetic uptime and performance monitoring are included too; both are cookieless and store no personal identifiers.
Analytics and performance
Cookie-based measurement through Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager: page views, referring pages, browser and device details, approximate region from your IP, and product events. Inside our apps it also covers PostHog and Amplitude, which help us understand how features are used; session recording is off. Leave this off and measurement stays cookieless and non-identifying.
Marketing and attribution
Google Ads conversion tracking and remarketing: advertising identifiers and landing page attribution, so we can measure which campaigns lead to signups and purchases.
What is not optional: account sessions, cart and checkout, payment and security workflows, and abuse prevention. These are needed to provide the service safely.
